The plate (100) has a plastic board (120) molded with an edge (110) of the plate, and a film covering inner surface of the plate. Plate parts are cold embossed in the plastic board that is made of a material with glass transition temperature ranging from 40 to 100 degree Celsius. The plate parts are provided with embossing height ranging from 0.5 to 4 mm and thickness ranging from 0.5 to 4 mm. The edge and plastic board are formed as an injection-molding part, and the film is attached to a plastic label blank. The plastic board is manufactured by injection molding process. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing plastic number plate.
