The method involves feeding drying air from one of two chambers (7, 12) of a container (2) through a drying substance (5) into the other chamber, where the container is divided into the chambers by the drying substance. The drying air is fed back from the latter chamber through the drying substance into the former chamber, where each chamber is provided with a drying air application unit. The drying air application units are controlled based on air pressure acquisition in the respective chambers such that pressure difference between the chambers is kept at a range of 600 to 600 Pa. The drying air application units comprise fans. The container is formed as a revolution container. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a device for drying a drying substance (2) a system for drying a drying substance.
