The coupling (100) has two bolted connections (210,220), two air-insulated bus-bars (310,320) arranged side by side, and two coupling points (410,420) for connection to rail system (920), which are electrically connected to bolted connections. An end of the bus-bars is hooked to recesses (500) designed for receiving the bolt connection (210). The other end of bus-bars is electrically connected to the bolt connection (220). The bus-bars are designed to pivot about its second end between two positions for closing and opening electrical connection between coupling points, respectively.
