The support (12) has a front-sided support surface (14) for contacting a handle rod (13), where a cross-sectional contour (Q) of the support surface has a front-sided projecting end (S1) and a front-sided non-projecting end (S2). A continuous through hole guides a screw and extends between the support surface and a rear-sided support surface. The support surfaces are designed as covering surfaces. The projecting stays perpendicular to a longitudinal axis (L) of the through hole, and the non-projecting end stays parallel to a rotational axis, where the support is made from plastic. An independent claim is also included for a door handle.
