The brake connecting device (50) has a rope-shaped elastic connection element (52) that is flexibly bent along a partial section. A first end portion (54a) of the elastic connection element is fastened at a brake actuator (56) and a second end portion (54b) of the elastic connection element is fastened at a joint portion (58) of a master brake cylinder (60) and/or a brake booster (62). Independent claims are included for the following: (1) a master brake cylinder; (2) a brake booster; (3) a brake assembly; (4) a method for placing brake actuator at master brake cylinder and/or brake booster; and (5) a method for assembling brake actuator, master brake cylinder and brake booster at motor car.
