The device has cameras (1) e.g. slow motion cameras, providing image signals on an output side. A receiving and transmitting station is connected with the camera for receiving the respective image signals via a wireless camera signal line. The receiving and transmitting station transmits one of the image signals to an external communication terminal, which is connected with a display device e.g. TV. Each camera is arranged for fastening at a clothing article e.g. jersey (9), of an associated participant e.g. player. A microphone provides audio signals on an output side. An independent claim is also included for a method for transmitting competitions of participants.
