Method for creating Chinese characters by speller in infotainment system of motor car for inputting e.g. route, involves assigning root characters to input device and using root characters by speller during composing of Chinese characters

The method involves forming root characters of Chinese characters by a computing unit. The root characters are designed from two fundamental lines. The root characters are assigned to an input device e.g. rotary pushbutton. The root characters are used by a speller during composing of the Chinese characters. The root characters together with the fundamental lines are displayed on a display device for selecting and inputting the root characters by the input device, where the display device is connected with the computing unit. A database statistics is created. An independent claim is also included for a speller display.
