The synchronizer clutch (10) has a shaft fixed synchronous portion (18) on which a shift sleeve (24) is axially guided over gearing portions (20,22). The shift sleeve is engaged with the shift gear (26b) of the gear wheels (14,16). An axial stop portion is provided on the tooth flanks of the teeth of the gearing portion (20) of the synchronous portion. The axial stop portion is provided for preventing the axial movement of the shift sleeve out of mesh with the shift gear of the gear wheels.
