The unit has a synchronous body (10) rotated around a gearbox axis (A). A shift collar (12) is arranged relative to the body. A friction ring (24) couples the collar with a gear-wheel-sided clutch gearing (14) of a forward gear wheel. A lock synchronization component (28) locks or releases axial movement of the collar to the gearing. A bearing part (32) i.e. pin, supported in a window-like recess (25) in the body has a locking member (36) to engage a non-synchronized locking position in which the member prevents the movement and a release position in which the member allows the movement.
