The system (100) has a computing device (120) for computation or provision of stereoscopic images from monoscopic images. The computing device is provided with an evaluating unit for evaluating the stereoscopic perceptibility of the computed or provided stereoscopic images. The computed or provided stereoscopic image in a specific region is replaced by the monoscopic image, when the stereoscopic perceptibility is not provided for the specific region of the stereoscopic image. An independent claim is included for a method for representation of stereoscopic microscope images on picture screen.
