The device has housing (10) to which fuel is flown by a pump (3) from a fuel tank (2). A return line (30) is provided to connect an inner space of housing and an inner space of fuel tank, so that fuel is flown for housing to fuel tank due to differential pressure between a pressure in housing and a pressure in fuel tank. The water withdrawn from fuel is flown to housing by fuel channel and is derived to outside of housing by a return channel. An independent claim is included for a fuel filtering apparatus.
