The device has a solar sensor (5) for detecting light energy from a light source i.e. sun. A transparent plate (1) is placed between the light source and the sensor, where a face (1a) of the transparent plate is structured by a network of slits (2). Another face (1b) of the transparent plate contains pixels areas (3) of images, and transparent areas (4). Surfaces (21) of the former face of the transparent plate are located between the network of slits in a shape of plane or prism. The sensor is a thermal, photovoltaic, or chemical type solar collector. An independent claim is also included for a method of manufacturing of a device for collecting light energy from a light source i.e. sun.
