FERMENTATIVE PRODUCTION OF USEFUL COMPOUND IN INDUSTRIAL SCALE USING CHEMICALLY DEFINED CULTURE MEDIUM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of applying a chemically defined formulation in industrial scale fermentation, in order to avoid problems associated with a usual use method of a composite culture medium in the current industrial site.SOLUTION: Use of a chemically defined culture medium in fermentative production of a useful compound in industrial scale is disclosed. A microorganism strain which may be suitable for fermentation in industrial scale using a chemically defined culture medium includes fungi, yeasts and bacterial strains. The appropriate strain can be obtained as a wild type strain or by mutagenesis treatment or screening and selection after DNA transformation.
