PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blast furnace casting hearth trough though provided with a back lining layer which is composed of a novel material capable of suppressing deterioration of the structure due to oxidation and deterioration of spalling resistance due to excessive sintering even when exposed to a temperature range of about 1,000-1,200°C.;SOLUTION: A blast furnace casting hearth trough is composed of a gutter-shaped steel shell and a refractory layer lined on the inner wall of the steel shell. With the surface of the refractory layer in contact with molten pig iron and/or slat taken as the inner side and the surface in contact with the steel shell taken as the outer side, the refractory layer is composed of a ware lining layer arranged on the inner side and a back lining layer arranged on the outer side, and at least one layer of the back lining layer is made of alumina containing no silicon carbide and a carbonaceous powder unshaped refractory.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT
