PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hot rolling method and a method of manufacturing a hot rolled steel sheet by which operation troubles such as a slip when the tip of a next material is bitten can be suppressed while surface roughening near a tail end part of a rolled material is suppressed.;SOLUTION: There is provided the hot rolling method in which supply amount of lubricant is controlled to allow a forward slip FS calculated by using a speed of a rolled material in the outlet side of a work roll, and a circumferential speed of the work roll to satisfy a condition specified by using a forward slip FSA in no lubrication state calculated by a theoretical calculation, and a forward slip FSB when a large quantity of the lubricant is supplied until a state where the rolling load reduction is saturated, when performing a lubrication rolling on a rolled material in a hot finish rolling mill in which the lubricant is supplied to the work roll. The method of manufacturing a hot rolled steel is also provided which includes a process in which a steel sheet is hot-rolled by using the hot rolling method.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT
