PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic and accurate calibration technique using image processing, in an ultrasonic calibration technique using a spherical member.;SOLUTION: An ultrasonic calibration system 1 includes: a first spherical member 8; a phantom 7 provided with a sound absorbing board 71 at the bottom face; an ultrasonic image device 3 having an ultrasonic probe 2; a first tracker 5b mounted to the phantom 7; a second tracker 6 having a second spherical member 64 with the same diameter as that of the first spherical member 8; a third tracker 5a mounted to the ultrasonic probe 2; a position measuring device 4 for measuring the three-dimensional position of the first tracker 5b, the second tracker 6 and the third tracker 5a; and an information processor 9 for calculating a homogeneous transformation matrix representing a positional relationship between the ultrasonic probe 2 and an image section of an ultrasonic image obtained from the ultrasonic image device 3.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT
