PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydrogen separation membrane, which can be formed into a complicated shape by using a metal support easy to fabricate as a support for the hydrogen separation membrane and which is free from occurrence of damage due to hydrogen embrittlement even in the presence of a high-concentration organic solvent; a hydrogen separator; and an organic hydride system.SOLUTION: The hydrogen separation membrane comprises a stainless filter as a carrier, the surface of which is plated with palladium or a palladium-based palladium alloy. The membrane is constructed so that pores having an average diameter of 2 m or smaller, preferably 0.4-0.6 m in consideration of efficiency of Pd, are formed by compression-crushing meshes of the stainless filter made by weaving stainless wires.
