PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an "inclination detection device for on-vehicle equipment" capable of obtaining a proper inclination angle of on-vehicle equipment from the beginning of travel start of a vehicle on which the on-vehicle equipment is mounted.;SOLUTION: An inclination detection device comprises: an acceleration sensor 20 provided in a movable body; a storage section 14 storing beforehand detected acceleration characteristic information representing a relation between each of a plurality of inclination angles of a casing 101 with respect to a predetermined direction and a variation of a detection value outputted from the acceleration sensor when changing the movable body from a first attitude to a second attitude with respect to the casing which is inclined at the corresponding inclination angle; and inclination determination means (S12-S17) for determining the inclination of on-vehicle equipment on the basis of an inclination angle θ corresponding to a variation ΔV from a first detection value V(close) which is outputted from the acceleration sensor when the movable body is in the first attitude, to a second detection value V(open) which is outputted from the acceleration sensor when the movable body is in the second attitude, in the detected acceleration characteristic information.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT
