PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ranking list display method in a game system which enables a user to easily confirm ranking of a ranking confirmation target such as the user, the user's friend, and the user's rival.SOLUTION: A ranking list display method in a game system includes the steps of: determining a position of a ranking confirmation target user in an entire game ranking list, for a display range of a part of the ranking list currently displayed in a terminal among the entire ranking list (S2 to S6); and displaying a pointer corresponding to the determined position of the ranking confirmation target user in the entire ranking list for the display range of the part of ranking list currently displayed in the terminal, in the display range of the part of ranking list currently displayed in the terminal (S7 to S10).
