PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a process for producing a polycarbonate resin extruded foam having small thermal conductivity and excellent heat insulation properties, capable of sustaining the excellent heat insulation properties for a long period, and having a high mechanical strength, and to provide the polycarbonate resin extruded foam.;SOLUTION: The process for producing the polycarbonate resin extruded foam includes a process of kneading a polycarbonate resin and a polyester resin together with a blowing agent to afford a foamable melted resin, and extruding and foaming the foamable melted resin, wherein the polyester resin is a polyester copolymer including diol component units which contain therein glycol component units having a cyclic ether structure in an amount of 25 to 50 mol% of the diol component units and dicarboxylic acid component units, and the blended proportion of the polyester resin is 5-100 pts.wt. based on 100 pts.wt. of the polycarbonate resin.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
