PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform appropriate control by determining whether a headphone has been worn or removed, regardless of whether music and the like have been played or not.;SOLUTION: A headphone device comprises: an outer microphone attached at a position where external sound is collected without a shield in a state in which the device is worn by a user; an inner microphone attached at a position where external sound is collected through a shield in a state in which the device is worn by a user; a driver unit for outputting sound; and a wearing state detection part. The wearing state detection part detects whether the device is worn or removed by using a signal comparison result of comparing sound signals obtained from the outer microphone and the inner microphone; a preliminary stored removed state reference value which is a signal comparison result of comparing sound signals of the outer and inner microphones at when external sound has arrived in a removed state; and a preliminary stored worn state reference value which is a signal comparison result of sound signals obtained from the outer and inner microphones at when external sound has arrived in a worn sate.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT
