PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an additive for cultivation of mushrooms which enables cultivation of mushrooms with a good shape and size at a high yield in a short period of time, an artificial culture medium for mushrooms and an artificial method for cultivating mushrooms using the same.SOLUTION: Provided is an additive for cultivation of mushrooms which includes aluminium sulfate of which the amorphous phase is 70% and of which the crystallinity index of crystalline mineral contained therein is equal to or less than 1.5 measured by a half band width method, and one or more selected from the group consisting of: calcium aluminosilicate glass; oxide of alkaline-earth metal;complex oxide of alkaline-earth metal; hydroxide of alkaline-earth metal;complex hydroxide of alkaline-earth metal; and hydrotalcite. The maximum pH of the additive determined by Fuchs method is from 3.5 to 4.5. Also provided are an artificial culture medium for mushrooms and an artificial method for cultivating mushrooms using them.
