PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing semi-solidified metal slurry, which can uniformalize the structure and temperature of the semi-solidified metal slurry structure.;SOLUTION: A method for producing semi-solidified metal slurry, in which a solid phase and a liquid phase coexist, includes an agitation step of agitating molten metal Y in a molten metal holding container 10 in a noncontact manner. The molten metal holding container 10 has a bottom part 11, a cylindrical exterior wall part 12 erected on the bottom part 11, and a columnar inner wall part 13 erected on the inside with respect to the exterior wall part 12 on the bottom part 11.
