IMPERVIOUS STRUCTURE IN WASTE DISPOSAL SITE AND METHOD OF FORMING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an impervious structure in a waste disposal site, capable of maintaining impervious performance of an expansion joint between pits in a high state even when the pits are moved by an earthquake or the like, and a method of forming it.SOLUTION: On a surface of an expansion joint 3 in a pit 2 where waste is deposited, an impervious sheet 4 is spread. On a surface of the impervious sheet 4, a roll member 5 is disposed, and a reinforcing sheet 6 is provided covering the roll member 5. The impervious sheet 4 and the reinforcing sheet 6 are heat-sealed, and an erected state of the reinforcing sheet 6 is maintained. By maintaining the reinforcing sheet 6 in the erected state, an unfolded state keeping structure for keeping the reinforcing sheet 6 in an unfoldable state is formed.
