Techniques for process management of electronic signatures are described. Certain embodiments comprise an electronic signature service (“ESS”) configured to manage electronic identification cards. In some embodiments, the ESS generates and manages an electronic identification card for the user based on the user's personal information, activity activity information associated with the user's ESS, and / or the user's social network information. The signer's electronic identification card may be associated with an electronic document signed via ESS, which allows the user to obtain information about the signer of the document. The electronic identification card managed by the ESS may be shared or included in other contexts, such as via a profile page on the user's social network or the user's email signature.
