PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pointing device capable of improving the accuracy of an intuitive input by minimizing the influence of attitude change in a large attitude range.SOLUTION: In order to calculate a horizontal movement amount of a pointing device that points a position on a screen by position movement in three-dimensional space, angular velocity z about the Z-axis of the pointing device is corrected. The angular velocity z is corrected using correction parameters A(c) and B(c) corresponding to tilt angle c of the pointing device. The correction parameters A(c) and B(c) are determined experimentally and/or empirically.
