PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely decontaminate the outer face of a package by packaging a sterilized article 2 with the package (bag), housing in an isolator 8, and by decontamination gas.;SOLUTION: An article 2 sterilized in advance is housed in a package (inner bag 4) formed of a material such as nylon having a property of adsorbing decontamination gas and sealed. Moreover, the nylon inner bag 4 is housed in a polyethylene package (outer bag 6) being a material allowing permeation of the decontamination gas and sealed. The double bags 4, 6 housing the article 2 are housed in the isolator 8 and decontaminated by the decontamination gas (hydrogen peroxide vapor). The decontamination gas permeates through the outer bag 6 and completely decontaminates the outer face of the outer bag 6. Furthermore, the decontamination gas entering the inner bag 4 is adsorbed by the inner bag 4, therefore, the decontamination gas has no influence on the article 2 housed in the inner bag 4.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT
