PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a service providing system capable of preventing provision of an application to a mobile station device from being interrupted.;SOLUTION: A system 100 is configured to transmit and receive information for providing an application service to a mobile station device to and from the mobile station device wirelessly communicably connected to a base station device. The system stores base station identification information and available service identification information for identifying the application service which can be provided via the base station device with being associated with each other. The system, if accepting a handover processing request from the base station device, determines whether it is possible or not to continue to provide the application service to the mobile station device via the base station device of a handover destination based on the information stored in the system.
