PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress sticking of dust or the like to an insulator with an inexpensive and simple structure.;SOLUTION: The insulator pollution control device comprises an insulator 18 supporting, in an insulated state, high voltage electrodes including a charge-side attaching plate 17 and a ground-side attaching plate 16 in opposition to each other, and a pair of conductive protection cylinders 21 and 52 in the form of two inner and outer layers arranged so as to surround the charge-side circumference and the ground-side circumstance of the insulator 18, respectively, characterized in that the tip end part in opposition to the conductive protection cylinder 52 surrounding at least the charge-side circumference of the insulator 18 of the tip end parts in opposition to the pair of the conductive protection cylinders 21 and 52 is formed into the shape of a sawtooth wave and the tip end parts in opposition to the pair of the conductive protection cylinders 21 and 52 are wrapped into the form of two inner and outer layers to each other in the state where the tip end parts are separated at a predetermined insulation distance or more and at the same time, an electric field that causes dust or the like included in air flow by application of a voltage to the high voltage electrode to stick to the pair of the conductive protection cylinders 21 and 22 is generated.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
