PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ventilation device for a shed roof ridge, which is appropriate for attic space ventilation in the shed roof ridge.;SOLUTION: A ventilation device for a shed roof ridge comprises: a cover material 2 which includes in the intermediate part thereof a ventilation opening 13 extending in a length direction and is installed in a tilted state along a gradient of a shed roof; and a ventilation member 3 which is fixed along an upper-side opening edge 14 of the ventilation opening 13 on a rear side of the cover material 2. The ventilation member 3 includes a number of ventilation paths which ventilate air in a width direction, and a shield plate 6 of which the longitudinal width is larger than that of the ventilation opening, extends from a top face end of the ventilation member. A ventilation gap 7 which is widened downwards is secured between the shield plate 6 and an opening end face 5 of the ventilation member 3.
