PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and agent for increasing a regulatory T-cell by inducing its differentiation, and a method and agent for immune suppression.;SOLUTION: An agent for differentiation induction of the regulatory T-cell containing a geranylgeranylation inhibitor of protein as an active ingredient, an agent for suppressing differentiation of an IL-17-producing T-cell, an immunosuppressant and an agent for prevention and/or therapy of a disorder caused by immunity sthenia; use of the geranylgeranylation inhibitor in the production of the above agents; use of the geranylgeranylation inhibitor in differentiation induction of the regulatory T-cell, suppression of differentiation of the IL-17-producing T-cell, immune suppression and prevention and/or therapy of a disorder caused by immunity sthenia; a method for differentiation induction of the regulatory T-cell, a method for suppressing differentiation of the IL-17-producing T-cell, a method for immune suppressing and a method for prevention and/or therapy of a disorder caused by immunity sthenia that are characterized by inhibiting geranylgeranylation; and a method for identifying a compound having immune suppressing ability, are provided.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
