PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a charge supporting device for a vehicle, a charge supporting method for a vehicle, and a computer program, capable proposing materials for comparison between charging at a present position and charging at a position having excellent charging efficiency after changing the position in consideration of a facility where a vehicle parks.SOLUTION: A navigator identifies charge efficiency at the present position Ca (S3). The navigator identifies a more efficient optimum position (S4), and identifies the optimum charge efficiency Cb at the optimum position (S5). The navigator obtains the type of the facility where an own vehicle is located (S6) on the basis of the present position information, and obtains a reference value corresponding to the type of the facility (S7). The navigator display a charge position guide screen on the basis of a value obtained by subtracting the charge efficiency Ca from the optimum charge efficiency Cb and the reference value determined in accordance with the type of the facility (S9, S10).
