Network-based control of dual-access network

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile node configured to facilitate network-based control of a forwarding policy.;SOLUTION: A mobile node receives access network-specific signaling that is related to an Internet Protocol (IP) flow. The mobile node decides which of multiple access networks to use to send the IP flow on the basis of the access network-specific signaling. The access network-specific signaling may be received from an access network, and the mobile node may interpret the access network-specific signaling as a command to send the IP flow over that access network. The mobile node may update a forwarding policy at the mobile node to indicate that the IP flow should be sent over the access network.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT
