PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas pedal effort control apparatus that enables a driver to completely realize an increase in gas pedal effort when a pedal effort of a gas pedal is rapidly increased.;SOLUTION: While a pedal effort of an gas pedal 2 keeps on being increased by only an increment of a predetermined pedal effort more than a base pedal effort, the increment of the predetermined pedal effort is decreased in a predetermined proportion when an accelerator opening becomes not more than an increment cancel threshold value (t2 timing). When the accelerator opening becomes more than a predetermined accelerator opening threshold value (t3 timing) while the increment of the predetermined pedal effort keeps on being decreased.
