PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brake of a wire reel in a reinforcement binding machine capable of improving brake performance and saving power.;SOLUTION: The reinforcement binding machine is used for sending a wire from a wire reel rotatably arranged in a binding machine body by a feeding means to be wound around a plurality of reinforcing bars and thereafter twisting and binding the wires. The reinforcement binding machine includes: a brake means 32 to apply braking to the rotation of the wire reel; a detection means 54 to detect a power voltage for starting the feed means; and a control means 50 to make a braking start time of the brake means 32 earlier than a reference time only when the power voltage is not smaller than a predetermined reference value based on the detection result of the detection means 54.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
