PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filter coefficient calculation device which calculates a filter coefficient used by a local reproduction device which can set a plurality of listening regions, and the local reproduction device.;SOLUTION: A plurality of speakers are arranged separately on a spherical surface, with their sound releasing sides directed toward the outside. An order calculation unit calculates the order n' of a spherical harmonics function on the basis of order determination information as a value (n'kr0) greater than a wave number k of an input signal, or the condition for a spherical evanescent wave to be generated, multiplied by a position radius r0 of the speakers. Then, a filter coefficient calculation unit, accepting the position information of the speakers (r0,θu,φv) and the order n' and a mode m' of the spherical harmonics function as its inputs, substitutes the position information of the speakers (r0,θu,φv) and the order n' and the mode m' for the spherical harmonics function to calculate a filter coefficient.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
