PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote learning system and a remote learning method allowing an instructor to comprehend physical and mental conditions of a learner in real time.;SOLUTION: In the remote learning system, a learner terminal 20B or 20C used by a learner B or C and an instructor terminal 20A used by the instructor A are connected mutually via a network. The remote learning system includes: a plurality of kinds of sensors detecting physical events in the learner and/or in the periphery of the learner; a storage means storing rule information defining a correlation between a combination of the physical events in the learner and/or in the periphery of the learner and physical and mental conditions of the learner; an estimation means estimating the physical and mental conditions of the learner based on the combination of physical events detected by the plurality of kinds of sensors and the rule information stored in the storage means; and a delivery means delivering the physical and mental conditions of the learner estimated by the estimation means to the instructor terminal.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
