PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cleaning roller capable of drastically reducing incidence of defective due to a pinhole, eliminating need of processing for decreasing apparent influence of the pinhole, and drastically reducing wastefulness due to disposal of the defective and wastefulness of processing energy.;SOLUTION: A resin foaming layer 16 formed on an outer peripheral surface of a core bar 12 is constituted by winding a thin sheet-type resin foaming body 18 a plurality of number of times. After a leading end of the resin foaming body 18 is fixed to a double-coated adhesive tape 14 stuck to the core bar 12, the resin foaming body is wound. The pinhole existing in the resin foaming body 18 is stopped with an upper layer, whereby probability that large pinholes are serialized in a radial direction to form one pinhole becomes extremely low. Since it is the thin sheet-type resin foaming body, the pinhole on the outermost layer does not hinder a cleaning function for a member to be cleaned.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
