PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of producing a flavone derivative, and an inhibitory agent for a sialic-acid transferase comprising a flavone derivative as an effective component.;SOLUTION: There are provided: the method of producing a compound represented by formula [in the formula, R₁ represents H or OH, and n is 1, 2 or 3]; and the inhibitory agent for a sialic-acid transferase comprising the compound as an effective component.
