PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner that is equipped with including a human detecting device having a wide range of visual field and high light collecting efficiency without degrading design and dust-proof performance of an indoor machine body. PSOLUTION: In the air conditioner controlling its operation by detecting presence or absence of a human with a human body detecting sensor provided in an indoor machine, a plurality of sensor units 32, 33, 34, 35, 36 are provided in the indoor machine and the sensor units 32, 33, 34, 35, 36 are covered by a cover 38 and at least a surface through which an infrared ray passes is formed in a thin-walled structure, so that the air conditioner including the human detecting device having the wide range of visual field and the high light collecting efficiency can be provided without degrading the design and dust-proof performance of the indoor machine body.
