Development of cytosolic expression and heterologous booster based DNA vaccine against e-toxin of Clostridium perfringens

The present invention provides recombinant DNA in combination with heat inactivated protein as a heterologous booster for use in vaccine which is capable of inducing protective antibodies against ε (epsilon) toxin (Etx) of Clostridium perfringens which provides therapy against enterotoxemia caused by Etx of C. perfringens. Particularly this invention provides eukaryotic expression vector harboring Etx gene sequence for cytosolic expression and heterologous booster to use in an effective vaccine strategy.
