The present invention provides recombinant DNA for membrane bound expression in combination with heat inactivated protein heterologous booster for use in vaccine which is capable of inducing protective antibodies against ε (epsilon) toxin (Etx) of Clostridium perfringens when administered to animals which provide therapy against the infection of C. perfringens Etx. Particularly this invention provides a membrane bound Epsilon toxin expressing plasmid and heterologous booster to use in an effective anti enterotoxemia vaccine.
