A DIETARY SUPPLEMENT COMPOSITION FOR TURKEY BROILERS

The present invention generally relates to the field of food supplementation in birds. More particularly, the invention relates to a protein supplement composition comprising inorganic sulphate, useful for fulfilling the requirement of sulphur containing amino acids like lysine, methionine etc. in birds like Turkey broilers. The food supplement is highly economical and advantageously causes an increase in body weight, performance index and carcass yield of the fed turkey broilers. In the present embodiment, the invention has been described with reference to Turkey broilers, however such description should not be considered as restricting the scope of the present invention. Further it would be possible for a person skilled in the art to practice the present invention or use the present protein supplement composition on other poultry birds without departing from the scope of the present invention.
