The invention relates to heavy electric machine industry. A stator of three-phase synchronous hydraulic turbine generator having a pole-changing winding is meant for two mode operating cycles with different rotation frequency. First temporary operating cycle is with initial storage of minimal level (hydraulic drop) of water in upper pool of a dam of hydroelectric station. It starts while initial filling of minimal level of water reservoir with temporary low rotation frequency () with temporary quantity of polesand reduced power. Second, permanent operating cycle is with full (specified) storage calculated level (hydraulic drop) of water in the upper pool of a dam. It starts at a stage of electric station hydraulic units with regularly high specified rotation frequency () with steady quantity of polesof high power. According to the invention, an embodiment providing change of hydraulic turbine generator rotation frequency is realized. Herein, change of number of poles thereof and simultaneously substitution of rotor poles is performed. For this, the stator having pole-changing winding is used. Herein, the winding is modified from implementation with certain number of poles to another number of poles by resoldering (replacement) only interpole connections of the stator winding (between pole-phase groups of rods). The proposed design provides for increase of technical-and-economic indexes with low cost and time reduction for manufacturing hydraulic turbine generator stator. Due to replacement (resoldering) the bridges between polar-phase arias (groups) of rods only the complete replacement of the stator winding is not required.
