The invention relates to thermal equipment. An electric resistance furnace with controlled atmosphere includes a metal lined case, heaters, for each of those in the case a window is provided for placement of the working section of the heater to the heating chamber and pipeline for supply of working gas mixture. Additionally it includes a drive-less recirculation device comprising a single-channel injector connected to the end of the pipeline for supply of working gas mixture, swirler and mixing chamber. All the elements of the drive-less recirculation device are fixed against displacement with respect to the metal lined case of the electric furnace, and the swirler is installed in the mixing chamber. Use of the electric furnace makes it possible to exclude consumption of power resources for realization of recirculation of the atmosphere of the furnace, and to decrease expenses for repair of the recirculation device, lined case of the electric furnace and its heaters.
