METHOD FOR CALCULATION OF INDEX OF APOPTOTIC-REGENERATORY REACTIVITY OF HEPATOCYTES IN CHILDREN

The method for predicting the alterations of liver tissue in the children comprises the assay for TNF and HGF followed by the calculation of the index of apoptotic-regeneratory reactivity of hepatocytes (IARRH) according to the formula:,whereinIARRH index of apoptotic-regeneratory reactivity of hepatocytes;TNF level of tumor necrosis factor alpha, pmol/L in EDTA-blood plasma;HGF level of hepatocyte growth factor, pmol/L in EDTA-blood plasma.When IARRH is within 0.85-0.97, the intensities of apoptosis and regeneration of hepatocytes are normal, and the prognosis for function and viability of liver tissue is favorable. When IARRH is within 0.39-0.56, regeneration process is prevailed, and the prognosis for function and viability of liver tissue is conditionally favorable. When IARRH is within 0.971-2.43, apoptosis and degeneration of cells into the connective tissue in hepatitis is evident, and prognosis for function and viability of liver tissue is unfavorable.
