Neutron counting method, comprising: receiving a pulse sequence from neutron detector; for each pulse of said pulse sequence: setting said pulse as trigger pulse activates a gate, assigning said driving pulse to a category of multiplicity corresponding to the deimpulsos multiplicity within said door, determining intervals activation above from said trigger pulse to pulse quepreceden said trigger pulse within a longer than a dead time dichodetector neutron range; for each category of multiplicity: determining the number of trigger pulses assigned to that category of multiplicity; build, based on activation intervals determined above, a distribution in an arbitrary tiempodespués previous pulse of trigger pulses assigned to that category demultiplicidad; estimate, based on such distribution, several pulses lost due to downtime activation neutron dedetector would be assigned to that category of multiplicity; and correcting the number of trigger pulses assigned to said multiplicity category by dichonúmero estimated lost pulse activation.
