Movement-fixing means for a person (10). The problem of the invention is to propose a movement-fixing means in which a person in the standing position can be fixed at a certain location, while at the same time maintaining his ability to execute free walking movements in any direction. The problem is solved by a movement-fixing means comprising a guide element (2) with vertical orientation, a means for attaching the guide element to the person's centre of gravity, means (11-14) by way of which a force which crosses over the vertical orientation is introduced to the person above his centre of gravity, and two shoes (15) for the person with means for varying the coefficient of friction on an underlying surface (5).
