HARD-TIP SECTION OF INSERTION PART OF ENDOSCOPE, AND ENDOSCOPE USING HARD-TIP SECTION

A hard-tip section of the insertion part of an endoscope has a columnar first base which is made of metal and has both a circular through-hole which penetrates in the axial direction of the insertion part, and a non-circular through-hole in parallel with the circular through-hole and accessible from the outer-circumferential surface thereof, and a resinous, electrically insulating second base which: is integrally formed on the base-end side of the first base in the axial direction thereof so as to be airtight and watertight with the first base; covers the inner-circumferential surface of the circular through-hole and the non-circular through-hole so as to be airtight and watertight with the first base; and has a hole formed on the inside thereof where covering the inner-circumferential surface of the non-circular through-hole, wherein an illuminating light source and/or a light-source substrate positioned at the base-end side of the illuminating light source are positioned in said hole.
