Disclosed are a hollow axle for an agricultural trailer and a machining method thereof and an agricultural trailer using the axle. The trailer hollow axle comprises a hollow axle tube (1), and two axle noses (2) respectively provided at two ends of the hollow axle tube (1), wherein the axle noses (2) are fixed and welded to the hollow axle tube (1), an axle nose positioning sleeve (3) is fixed and welded inside the two ends of the hollow axle tube (1), an embossment is located at the middle part of an end of the axle noses (2) near the hollow axle tube (1), the embossment is inserted into the axle nose positioning sleeve (3) of the hollow axle tube (1), and the embossment of the axle noses (2) is in an interference fit with the axle nose positioning sleeve (3). While effectively increasing the bearing capacity, the trailer hollow axle reduces production costs and simplifies production processes.
